40 Years of Combined Experience in Public Safety
We know that personal security is critical and support that by offering Personal Protection and Defensive Awareness training and firearms training to individuals and small groups. Owners and practitioners Sean Fowler and wife Ricci have over 40 years of combined experience in public safety.
Sean Fowler
Over the past two decades, Sean has demonstrated multifaceted experience in law enforcement and public safety as a Field Training Officer, Internal Affairs Investigator, Polygraph Examiner for SC Law Enforcement Division (SLED), and as a Regional Emergency Manager for the State of SC (SCEMD). He is a veteran and retired from the USAF Reserve after 28 years, where he was an Aeromedical Evacuation EMT and C-17 Loadmaster.
He also has experience in Program Management, Risk Management, and Financial Management as the Chief Government Affairs Officer for a government contracting firm. His credentials include being a certified Project Manager (PMP), an NRA Basic Pistol Instructor, and a SC CWP instructor.
Ricci Fowler
Ricci Fowler, Vetus co-founder, is a retired law enforcement officer with 30 years of service. She has extensive experience and training operating in various capacities as a Detective (narcotics, homicide, white-collar crimes), as a Field Training Officer, Special Team Supervisor, Crime Stoppers, Negotiator, and School Resource Officer .
